Final images for my latest creative brief at uni. Using fisheye and unusual angles I played with perception and perspective.
Photos from 'Perspectives' for 'Native Gardens,' Karen Zacarías' celebrated comedy about a young Latino couple that moves into a fixer-upper next to an older couple with a beautifully kept garden. All is going really well until the aristocratic young Chileans discover their property line actually extends about 2 feet over their neighbors' flowerbed. I kinda cheated this week. Kinda, just barely. This is from Saturday, but it's perfect for this week so I had to use it. This was on our way to look at our new house, and my stuff is packed away and the internet is being cancelled tomorrow so I had to get something up. We are relocating 3 and a half hours away from where we've lived our entire lives. Away from family, and friends. Didn't expect it, it was a curve ball that was thrown at us and we're trying to make the best of it. So while I'm going to miss my family oh so much, I'm also excited for this new change. Not looking back, always forward is a good perspective to have on life, don't ya think?
Was at a car show in Scappoose and as I walked the line of cars I noticed the reflections in the shiny hubcaps: 26/52.
