One of a set of shots experimenting with perspective and field of view. These are the MBTA commuter rail tracks near the center of Norfolk, MA, which I drive by almost daily.

Exercise in experimenting with photography and perspective
First year BA/BSc Product Design students at Middlesex University
We did a 20 minute draft perspective drawing before this one. I did this one over two classes. Some problems with alignment and proportions but overall I like it.

Nicolette Gray documents this face as "Perspective, Figgins 1845."¹
The earliest specimen personally examined is shown as Claro y Oscuro [Light and Dark] by Fundiçion de J.B. Clement (Valencia) dated 1840.
Kelly illustrates it and other chromatic reverses shown by George Nesbitt in 1841,² and Bullen writes that the design originated in France.³

Photos from 'Perspectives' for 'Native Gardens,' Karen ZacarÃas' celebrated comedy about a young Latino couple that moves into a fixer-upper next to an older couple with a beautifully kept garden. All is going really well until the aristocratic young Chileans discover their property line actually extends about 2 feet over their neighbors' flowerbed. March 15, 2012 - Another view from our condo, but this time since the weather is now somewhat warm enough, I was able to go outside on our balcony to take the picture.
Notice the lovely crane in our view. We thought we had a good view and that a condo can't be built in front of us due to the rail road tracks. Lucky us they're deciding to do an overpass east of us, so that means the tracks are being raised.

CHICAGO--Approximately 50 Chicago young professionals gathered at the John Barleycorn on Kinzie, to launch the Perspectives Young Professionals Board (also known as PYP). The mission of the PYP is to support the students of Perspectives Charter Schools by raising awareness of Perspectives and the A Disciplined Life education model.
The launch event included a special screening of "I Am for Peace," a student-led documentary film showcasing students living A Disciplined Life as a strategy to tackle the violence they face in Chicago.
A Disciplined Life is a school culture, a curriculum, and a common language. It helps us develop positive self-perception, healthy relationships, and personal productivity.
The founding members will Lead fundraising events; Attract new friends and donors; Raise awareness through social media; Actively volunteer with our students; Help improve public education in Chicago and beyond; and, Contribute at least $1,000 over a two-year period.
Perspectives is seeking talented, innovative, and enthusiastic young professionals who are committed to our mission of educating students for college and preparing them for life.
