Due to the limited space in front of the Notre Dame in Dijon, this picture was originally taken with a wide-angle lens. I've fooled around with Corel Paint Shop Pro to straighten it out. Looks a little wacky, but not too bad.

Forced perspective

Perspectives by Giles Miller.

Part of the 'Inspiring Views' project in the Surrey Hills.

This pod-like shelter is nestled in the woods at Winterfold in the Hurtwood. The visitor enjoys a secluded experience sitting and looking out across to the beautiful South Downs. The steel structure is entirely clad in cedar shingles that have slowly greyed over the years making the artwork feel truly part of its natural surroundings.

Many of the shingles have been engraved with words from visitors to the site. There are observations from infants at the local school, regular walkers expressing their love of the place or people who are making dedications. The cedar shingles also make up the long curved seating within the pod encouraging dialogue between visitors as they meet at this section on the Greensand Way.

a cardboard theatrical model (1:20) I made as academy project. its ceiling and walls are widening twards the front so that the audience will see it all and also acording to perspective rrules.

She just started "Learn to Skate" lessons, and she loves it! I was taking photos of her during her lesson, but loved this "details shot" of her trying to get the skates off after class.

Nice sunny day, nice green leaves, upward perspective: what does a bug see in a day like today?

Charlotte Perriand for the studio of Le Corbusier-Jeanneret

Charlotte Perriand: The Modern Life

(June - September 2021)

Charlotte Perriand joined Le Corbusier studio in Paris in 1927 and co-created timeless pieces including the Grand Confort armchair.

She believed architecture should meet human needs, and as far back as the 1920s she designed open-plan interiors to make sure women didn’t feel trapped in their homes.

From the 1930s onward she increasingly looked at nature for inspiration and was highly influenced by the years she spent in Japan during the Second World War. A passionate skier, Perriand designed one of the most recognisable ski resorts in the world, Les Arcs.
