Grateful for long weekends to spend time with family. :)
Our week started off with getting a sitter for Troy so the Mr. & I could have an evening alone. We decided to spend the day at home and have movie night. I baked and he cooked it was nice. :)
We had a hectic Thanksgiving. We ended up rushing the entire day trying to make it to everyone's houses which was not how I wanted to spend my day. I think next year will just have Thanksgiving at our house and everyone can come and see us. So not doing this again next year.
As far as Black Friday I ended up getting what I wanted without having to deal with the crowds my husbands cousins are huge on the Black Friday thing and go every year. I asked my cousin if she could get me a few things from Toys R Us and was able to get everything I asked for I was so happy!
Saturday we made it to the Yo Gabba Gabba show and I have to admit I was dancing just as much as Troy and we all had a blast. I even caught my husband dancing a few times haha!
It was a great week and I'm so grateful I could share it with my family. Love them all so much <3

This shot of Chatsworth House in the Derbyshire Peak Distict was taken last summer. If you haven't visited Chatsworth, then you really must. I've tried to frame the house in this shot by using the lawns and clouds. Then add depth and perspective with the trees. I hope you like the shot , please let me know if you do. Thanks, Graham.

I like Lake Tahoe. A lot.
There are many beautiful aspects of the lake but for some reason I always find myself coming back to Emerald Bay over and over. I've always admired the tall mountains around Emerald Bay but I usually end up shooting out over the top of Eagle Falls looking out toward the main body of the lake. Back in May I finally got up to the lake early enough in the afternoon to make the hike down to the water level and shoot back toward the mountains for a different perspective. It doesn't really even look like Emerald Bay....but that's kinda the point. I hope you like it.
