Sydney Sails | Perspective Shot
This is a pic of the Sydney Opera House I took one morning when wandering around. I like to challenge myself to find a different perspective on these famous landmarks, and in this case I got right up close to capture the detail in the sails.
Got up early and saw the fresh snow out my bedroom window and decided to chance it and make the early drive to the Mill. Got there before sunrise and got some images before the light. Then I ventured down to Alpha Trail and walked upstream. Stopped at an early vantage point of the river and got some images upstream then downstream of the Old Mill and Covered Bridge from a large rock in the creek.
I had posted a similar image from this spot in color but decided to throw a B&W image up also. I like both perspectives.
I like the reflection in the flowing water across the creek.

Distorted perspective of buildings while using wide angle lenses.
Photographic perspective distortion - perspective convergence or keystoning - this form of distortion is very common across architectural, street and travel photography, It's most often seen when tall buildings 'fall' or 'lean' within a picture.
This happen if the camera is tilted when pointing to the building subject being photographed.

All one needed was the Aegean Sea in the background and this would be a perfect Santorini cafe shot.
A book and a cocktail, minimal jewellery and a not so subtle designer rag, couple all that with lots of time and a holiday is divine.
This was shot a few weeks ago as a lifestyle shot for a jewellery brand in India and in this frame the branded ware is muted.
