Do you know a young, local leader making a difference in their community? If you do, we want to hear from you! Canucks defenceman Dan Hamhuis wants to bring young, local leaders to a Canucks home game in the 2014.15 season. Thanks to Hammer's generous donation, 41 local heroes will receive four complimentary tickets, be recognized during the game and possibly even be featured on Canucks.com.
Hammer's Heroes is brought to you by Dan Hamhuis in cooperation with the Canucks and Canucks for Kids Fund.
Who is eligible?
A nominated hero:
must be 18 years of age or younger;
must be a resident of BC;
must be willing and able to be interviewed by the selection committee and/or canucks.com writer(s);
must be able to arrange his/her transportation and lodging in Vancouver for the selected game; and
must not be (and no member of his/her immediate family shall be) an employee of Vancouver Canucks Limited Partnerships (VCLP) or any of its affiliates.
