Winter performance by Bindlestiff Family Cirkus was in Chinatown on Friday, December 10th 2021. Started off with an ice sculpture demonstration in front of 18 Doyers Street, and followed by hilarious juggling and clown performances. That made the neighborhood in Chinatown.
These were taken at a music/dance/drama performance arranged by students from a local high school, for charity. I was kindly asked to cover it, and was honored and excited to do it!
This was my first time testing the Canon 50D at this type of event, indoors under very dim lighting conditions, and I can conclude that it only produces acceptable image quality at ISOs below 2500.
Still, I had a great time with my 28mm f/1.8, and the students put on a helluva show :D

Contorted flyering for dance. They would hold these shapes, reflecting their show which is based on drawings by Franz Kafka. As you can see, people were more interested in juggling.
