Photos from the Rehearsal Performance of the Ann Arbor Dance Classics Benefit Show at the Saline High School on Saturday March 18th, 2023 (for the performance on Sunday the 19th). The show was called "Work of Art" - the 2022 Benefit Concert and Competition Showcase to benefit the Peace Neighborhood Center. The show also featured a performance from the University of Michigan First-Year Dance Company.
Another shot chosen primarily based on subject. I also like the girls in the background with similar faces, all looking away. The lighting is my flash, and the stadium lighting.
I had to do some sharpening, because the dancers were in the middle of the field and I was on the sidelines. I also lightened her eyes because of her heavy makeup.
Crazy Marseilles street performers Generik Vapeur staged Droles d'Oiseaux (or Funny Bird) on the Level as part of the Brighton Festival, hanging up seven rainbow-coloured cars on an oversize washing line. They did a different performance the next night which alas I couldn't make.
