Over the weekend at WEC Silverstone, automotive artist Ian Cook, aka Popbangcolour created the Ford Performance GT solely using his unique technique of painting with radio controlled cars, toy car wheels and tyres.
Starting with a pencil outline Ian spoons acrylic paint onto 200gram Fabriano paper and then drives radio controlled cars through the paint. The wheels on the cars mix the colour and paint the picture.

Simultaneously with the 35-hour marathon re-opening of the Seattle Art Museum 5-6 May 2007, performance artists Laura Curry, Lori Dillon, and Pamela Gregory (I think this is Laura Curry, but I'm not sure) did a 35-hour performance of "living" in the window of a clothing store, The Finerie, half a block south across First Avenue. It was a variant on "Performance Memoirs", a piece Curry and Dillon have performed other times. Grease pencils allowed communication through the window, and the crowd got especially large at times when there was a wait to get into the museum.

Jon's turbo civic hits the dyno
The D15B isn't exactly a heavy hitter in the VTEC family but the easy way to fix any lack of power is to hang a turbo off the side. The stock engine is fitted with a TDO5 turbo and controlled with a Hondata S300 ECU.

Oh you pretty, pretty things.
Growing up and finding your place in the world was once a procedure, easy, and defined.
A far cry from the ambiguous journeys of today.
In times of tribal past, a boy braves the night in a sacred cave, and seizes the next day as a man.
A girl begins to bleed, and is isolated in a hut. Returning days later as a woman.
But what are our maturity rites of today?
This theatrical experience explores lost youth through tales of love, friendship, desire and their aftermath. Go with some not so innocent child-like characters on the journey of ”growing up”, and discover how their imaginative world reveals real lives and dark events.
The passage of youth is a time when our sense of what the world has to offer expands with concepts of love, hate, death and lust. Enter the private, fantasy world of these characters and revel in their secrets.
It’s time to grow up.

Tanz: Jessica Van Cauteren, Corentin Milosevic
