Didn't know the meaning of tulips is perfect and deep love and they are ideal to give to someone who have a deep, unconditional love for whether it is your parents, children or lovers!

The adult peregrine falcon drop a piece of bird in the air, the juvenile peregrine falcon catching it in perfect timing.
While other photographers were looking for Snowy Plovers on the beach, I was focused on the cave dwellers out in the lineup. This guy could have got a really really long tube ride if he would have been positioned deeper and taken off on the peak.
We all know the world is not a perfect place. But through the magic of photography, we can show only the parts we like.
My perfect world is by the sea.
ODC - this perfect world
Beautiful posture of young women in hotel lobby in Norway. Shot while we waited to check into hotel at beginning of boat trip up the Western Coast of Norway. I was very impressed by her perfect posture, one I have rarely seen in all most travels to all seven continents and numerous countries and cities. Spontaneously shot and not pre-planned or pre-posed.

I was expecting a light loco, which I'd planned to frame between that fine bracket signal and the house. Fortunately it was travelling slowly, having been held over in Crewe Bank loop, so a quick composition adjustment was possible as the wagons appeared in view!
2021 represents a significant milestone in the history of the Phoenix Railway-Photographic Circle with the celebration of our 50th anniversary. Phoenix was set up in spring 1971 and was created to promote an alternative approach to railway photography. Why not take a look at the PRPC web site at www.phoenix-rpc.co.uk/index.html.
In a road trip around the beautiful island of Zanzibar, one sees a slow life and is taken back in time. My driver was eager to show me many of the modern conveniences that have popped up on the island.
He was somewhat surprised that those were not the images I was after. I told him that pictures reflecting a simpler and calmer way of life were often more appealing to many. I shared with him that I knew it was a difficult life , but that so was a life in a fast- paced society.
Five years ago, Mike V and I spent a pristine spring day at BNSF's bridge over Lake Ashtabula near Luverne, ND. It was one of those rare days on the northern plains when the wind wasn't blowing, leaving perfect reflections on the water all day long. It still rates as one of the best days of railfanning I've had, and this shot is one of my favorites. A crude oil train crosses the lake as some wildflowers look on and clouds float lazily overhead.
St Andrew's Cathedral and Swissotel Stamford, a perfect marriage. I did spent some time finding the right spot, there was constantly a tree or a pole standing in my way. Too close, too much perspective, too far, too many trees. I just wanted those 2 iconic buildings in my frame.

I'll post just one more from the Ontario adventure several weeks' ago. Our routine the first 2 days was pretty much the same, departing from the motel in Englehart at 0530, stop at Tim's, and then off to Temagami to wait for train 113. After about a 4o minute wait, the scanner came to life with the Temagami section-men looking for train 113's location. They passed us at 0645 just before sunrise, and we knew we needed to hightail it to Cobalt, ON, where there are no shortage of great locations in the small iconic small town. After about an hour wait, we figured they encountered many 10 mph restrictions. This helped us, giving the sun more time to rise. Here ONR train 113 with a mix and match of EMD-GMD power skirt Cobalt lake on a picture perfect Monday September 16, 2019. Needless to say this was the beginning of an incredible chase to Englehart, and set the stage for a great week.

Measuring the inner diameter of any round shape is not so easy with a normal ruler if you wish to be perfect. An Inside Micrometer is type of ruler and everyday use precise tool for the perfectionists . Used to measure the Diameter of a round shapes inner side. When you need the perfect reading of a round shaped thing. This is a must to use.

They are perfect for each other and although their movements may be a bit stiff they are heart felt. lol.
Happy Macro Monday/ HMM
This week's theme is Perfect Match. I used a couple of artist's mannequins that are just under 5" tall. Ever since I introduced them to each other they have become inseparable. :)
I saw this swallowtail zigzagging around and wanted to take a shot of it in-flight. But it was just too damn fast for me. It finally rested on top of a flower. I moved around and found this angle with a perfect pose.
We are fortunate to have two ipê-roxo trees (Handroanthus impetiginosus) bordering our soccer field {football pitch).

Finally, the winter came. The first day of new year was just perfect - frosty, bright and snowy. Nature's simple pleasures are wonderful!
