Finally the paddling season has started!
Yesterday the first paddling day, sunny +10, no wind, perfect :)
I have been away on holiday in Pembrokeshire and the highlight was a day on Skomer Island. Sorry to deluge you with so many shots - I took way too many and deleted loads but still got loads of shots to edit! Please don't feel you have to comment but if you do many thanks!

Back in 2019, 15 days after Timmy moved in.

From the archives....Emerald Lake, Yoho National Park, August 2014
Hard to resist crystal clear, emerald green waters, blue skies, rugged, rocky peaks and a splash of red. Not sure about you, but makes me want to skip out on work and grab a paddle :-)
Have a great Tuesday....thanks for all your visits and comments!!!!!

I hiked Saddle Mountain the other day, and it was marvelous. This is better when viewed on black, or at a larger size.
I apologize for not having been around Flickr much, other than to throw up daily posts. I have a lot of things going on right now, in my head and heart and life. I just haven't felt like sitting in front of a computer... but please know that I really appreciate the fact that you folks still come around to visit, and even leave me notes and comments. You all are the best. Thank you.
The longest barefoot beach walk both Lynn and I have ever done in our lifetimes: 12+ km. Perfect weather for the first day of Fall.

A serene day on the rugged coast of Crimea, where warm light kissed the cliffs and the sea stretched into infinity. It was one of those magical moments when everything aligns — the water, the sky, the silence.
after our Kings Park Psych adventure, we found ourselves walking along a beautiful beach... never knew was there...
it was low tide and this boat was having an issue being stuck on the sand... hope they weren't planning a boat outing at this time!
If it weren't that we ran into one of David's friends... we would have never known about this beach and enjoyed our private tour!
The part of the Czech Republic also called the Czech Canada due to its beautiful nature, national parks and cold, clean lakes. There is a city of Telc near here, a small baroque town protected by the UNESCO.
An endless deserted beach with the warmth of a late afternoon sun seems to have the effect of slowing your pace and emptying your mind.
October 2022 and spring is in full on mode.

the Grand Gendarme on the Arête des Cosmiques with the summit of Mont Blanc straight behind
The thin line on the sunlit face of the Gendrame is Digital Crack, Europe’s highest 8a climb (3800m) and one of the hardest climbs in the Alps
The other peaks are Mont Blanc du Tacul, and Mont Maudit
