we rewatched 'YiYi' by edward yang a few nights ago. in the movie, there was this kid named 'YangYang" (probably alter ego of the director), who went around taking photos of people's back (head). When he was asked why did he do this, he said that he wanted to show people the side of themselves they don't see. it is quite a scary thought, because when we are busy doing/ talking about things in front of us, we always fail to think or consider things that we don't see.
In this picture, I no longer see vibrant colors and clarity with intensity. What matters is a vision existing in between the subject and me.

Black and White Print from 120mm Negative (Taken with HOLGA 120mm film) (Self Printed)
-A burned 120 mm negative from the image “Walnut Street”. This was one of the most enjoyable pieces to print. It was printed for an experimental photo class and I was the only one to solarize the image which created a really visually interesting effect.
