Saint Mary’s Cathedral is located in the historic center of Photi. In particular : В in today’s Central Park. This location of the building was chosen because of the rays perceived from the street.

Photi is a city, which was built according to a plan. 12 squares were joining the central street (twelve Apostles sign) and the ray sign was created. The most important event in the history of Photi was the building of Guria– Samegrelo eparchy’s cathedral in 1906-1907 years, In which’s construction, great contribution belongs to Niko Nikoladze.

The project was created by A.Zelenko. The project is the reduced analog of Constantinople’s Hagia Sofia. Later, after that, R. Marpeld made some corrections in project, the project was approved. The church was entertained to hold 2000 prayers. The construction of the church was tasked to “Black Sea Building Society”. The construction began in 6 July, 1906 and finished in September, 1907. It lasted for 1 year and 3 months. It was opened on 14 September “Jvartamagleba” holiday. The church’s foundation was blessed, by Guria-Samegrelo bishop, Giorgi.

On 22 May, 1907 the cross was erected on the dome of the church. Soviet government, turned the cathedral into theatre. In 2005, by the prayer-blessing of Catholicos-Patriarch of Georgia, the cathedral returned to the Photi patriarchate ownage.

Y mientras esperas que el tiempo cambie las cosas , la única que cambia eres tu.

Aunque no lo percibas , aunque no lo imagines, aún sin proponertelo....

Has cambiado !!

Y cuando eres otra lo que menos importa son los cambios de las cosas.

And while you wait for time to change things, the only one who changes is you.

Even if you don't perceive it, even if you don't imagine it, even without proposing it ...

You have changed !!

And when you are someone else, what matters less are the changes in things.

Gospel Video Songs | New Christian Song 2018 "The Incarnate God Leads Mankind Into a New Era"

www.holyspiritspeaks.org/videos/incarnate-god-leads-manki...

I

The incarnate God, He brings to an end the age when only Jehovah's back was seen. He also concludes the age of belief when in vagueness God was perceived. The work of the last incarnate God brings man to a more practical age. The work He does brings all mankind to a more pleasant and realistic time. He ends the age of vagueness, He concludes the age when man wished to seek God's face but was unable to back then. He ends man's service to Satan, to a new age man is led. All this is achieved by the work of God in the flesh, instead of God's Spirit alone.

II

He not only ends the age of law and doctrine, He shows man a God who is real, a God who is normal, righteous and holy, who unlocks the management plan, who demonstrates the mysteries, the destination of mankind, who made man and ends the management work, who has been hidden for thousands of years. He ends the age of vagueness, He concludes the age when man wished to seek God's face but was unable to back then. He ends man's service to Satan, to a new age man is led. All this is achieved by the work of God in the flesh. Oh, He ends the age of vagueness, He concludes the age when man wished to seek God's face but was unable to back then. He ends man's service to Satan, to a new age man is led. All this is achieved by the work of God in the flesh. All this is achieved by the work of God in the flesh, instead of God's Spirit alone.

Santa Catalina Monastery (Arequipa- Perù) 20221121

The Monastery of Santa Catalina de Siena is a large monastery of the Dominican Second Order, located in Arequipa, Peru.

This is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site "Historical Centre of the City of Arequipa".

The charm of this citadel lies in the solidity and plasticity of its volumes, and the beauty that master builders achieved in the architecture of these enclosures through solutions such as flying buttresses or the construction of strong arches based on pillars.

In the interiors, domes and vaulted ceilings greatly expand the space and add to the sense of strength of the buildings. Likewise, especially in the area of the alleys, the intervention of masons who, lacking a proper architectural design, were raising walls, roofs, cells, patios and portals of a simple approach is perceived.

The current building houses splendid pieces of art, such as a Baroque altar of carved and gilt wood, with one body and three lanes, which adorns the chapel, and several paintings from the Cusco School.

Due to the constant earthquakes that affected the monastery, the families of the nuns chose to build unique and private cells for each one of them. What caused there to be ordered sectors and in the absence of a plan others with a notorious disorder. For almost two centuries during the colony, the cloisters and cells of the monastery have undergone various modifications, additions and new constructions that have made Santa Catalina a counter on a human scale of Arequipa's colonial architecture.

Being a fairly big city, San Francisco has lots of diverse neighborhoods. From the upscale suburbs, to the poor Tenderloin, to China town, Embarcadero and Little Italy. This photo was taken at the corner of Columbus Avenue and Stockton street, right in the heart of the Italian district. Most of the cafes and restaurants can be found right on Columbus Avenue. The smell of freshly ground coffee and pizza is perceived throughout the area. At the right side of the frame at the background you can see probably San Francisco's most recognizable structure (after Golden Gate bridge), The Transamerica Pyramid.

Suprematism is an early twentieth-century art movement focused on the fundamentals of geometry (circles, squares, rectangles, triangles). The term refers to a form of abstract art based on the supremacy of pure artistic expression rather than on a visual or literal depiction of objects. It is entirely subjective and gives room for the artist to present what they think or perceive versus what they may see.

In psychiatry, the term means a specific and unique mental condition of a patient, often accompanied by neologisms. In psychoanalysis and behaviorism, it is used for the personal way a given individual reacts, perceives and experiences a common situation: a certain dish made of meat may cause nostalgic memories in one person and disgust in another.

The steenbok (Raphicerus campestris) is a common small antelope of southern and eastern Africa. It is sometimes known as the steinbuck or steinbok.

At the first sign of trouble, steenbok typically lie low in the vegetation. If a predator or perceived threat comes closer, a steenbok will leap away and follow a zigzag route to try to shake off the pursuer. Escaping steenbok frequently stop to look back, and flight is alternated with prostration during extended pursuit.

They are known to take refuge in the burrows of Aardvarks. Known predators include Southern African wildcat, caracal, jackals, leopard, martial eagle and pythons.

Excerpt from the plaque:

“Topo”: Hiking off the grid is typically possible using topographical maps. Reading the contour lines helps to determine what routes are possible and areas that might be too steep to navigate. I have always loved looking at these maps, particularly when you can see small lakes and ponds outlined by the contour lines.

This water sculpture is a fusion between a map and a lake. Perhaps it is where your imagination takes you while reading a map. It’s always exciting when you imagine a place based on information given to you and to ultimately discover your perceived vision is a reality.

Provided that survival is guaranteed, almost all of us are instinctively drawn to the path of least resistance. However, although expedient in the moment, this option almost always leads to decline and atrophy; it points in the opposite direction of your dreams and ambitions. So, to lead the life you wish to live, you must learn to embrace challenges and fight the urge to walk these regressive paths. {thekaizeneffect.com}

One day last winter, while I was admiring the sunny , snowed garden , I suddenly perceive a huge flying presence with open large wings …landing majestically in the middle of our garden, close to our pond !!!!!!!! And I rushed to pick up my camera!!!

Herons are really an impressive visit in our garden, having in their mind to have a great meal on my beloved red fish, about 30 of them at the moment!! But, of course, I let them stay as long as they serve as a great …model for me….And then, I create a light noise, and immediately those huge wings open again, and they fly away…

This time the occasion was very positive for shooting, thanks to the great sunlight, shadows, and colors of the winter garden!!

Looking down off rhe US Route 1 overpass above CPF 199, a CSXT/Pan Am Rigby yard crew is pulling a loaded welded rail train out of track 6 at the east end of Rigby Yard. The train had arrived here after coming up on M426 from Worcester and would continue east on the rear of that manifest to Waterville the next morning. It is ultimately destined for the track upgrades going on between Northern Maine Junction and Mattawamkeag as CSXT rebuilds the old Maine Central mainline they purchased last year.

Needing to turn the train to orient it properly for unloading they ran a couple miles east up District 1 to CPF 197 where they pulled down the Yard 8 lead. They then shoved back out the mainline through the crossovers at CPF 196 and brought the train back here.

I attempted to render this scene to be as realistic as my eyes perceived. This bright fire bands were actually tone down in brightness, contrast and saturation from my original images.

Picture of the Day

A peculiar figure, eyes fixed on the tip of its own nose, blowing softly.

More playful than the leader of light, yet still mysterious,

it seems to observe a reality only it can perceive.

And yet, like all beings between worlds,

it is neither fully real nor fully ghost —

existing on the threshold between the familiar and the strange,

between play and reflection, between light and shadow.

It was a gray and dreary day as we visited Almere Haven and there wasn't much to lift our spirits. But then in back of the theatre whose performance of Christopher Marlowe's 'Edward II' was cancelled due to a Covid-19 illness, we came upon this floating sculpture.

It immediately brought to mind Marlowe's line 'Can kingly lions fawn on creeping ants?' That question is a kind of summary of the play, the perceived inequality of 'high' King Edward - the 'kingly lion' - and his buddy, 'low' Gaveston - a 'creeping ant'.

Anyway...

I wonder if anyone can tell me who the sculptor of our ant is?

Thanks.

It is interesting how colours are perceived differently by others. To me it is a great bright colour. My Northern Irish descendant sister-in-law has a different reaction! HMM :))

Without Color by no means implies without life. This photo, as with so many others, was meant to share the subject’s beauty on merits such as light, contrast, composition, depth and shadow. Ansel Adams’ work reveals unanticipated beauty in the absence of color. We can feel beauty and tease our senses in ways never really perceived of until his B&W works took the world by surprise. I do feel that certain works show better in B&W. Technology today helps most photographers, regardless of their skill level, to experiment with even their finest work. Thanks for viewing my work. OK, I have to say this flycatcher was *reasonably* cooperative while I was photographing it, but unlike what it suggests in the Wikipedia excerpt below, it did *not* attempt to perch on me at any time. :-)

=======================

From Wikipedia: The Galápagos flycatcher (Myiarchus magnirostris) also known as the large-billed flycatcher is a species of bird in the family Tyrannidae. It is endemic to the Galápagos Islands, where it is present on all the main islands. Its local name is 'Papamoscas'. The species was once placed in its own genus, Eribates, based upon a supposed "very long tarsus".

The Galápagos flycatcher is 15 to 16 cm (5.9–6.3 in) in length and weighs 12 - 18.5 grams. It is the smallest member of its genus.

Its natural habitats are tropical dry forests and tropical arid shrubland with cacti.

The Galápagos flycatcher has become used to human visitors to the Galapagos and flies towards large camera lenses, perceiving its own reflected image as another bird. It habitually perches on visitors and their cameras.

Not much comment needed today. I just invite you to contemplate these pieces of made photo art. Like all conceptual art, this kind of photography requires one to have a clearly worked out idea before even attempting the processing. The photograph can be taken to a whole new level with just a few minor artistic changes.

(This image is half of the story, read below to know the full).

Now, the forest has two types of living creatures. The fix to the ground and the moving ones. The fix to the ground perceives "time" differently from the others, 'cause a full day for a moving creature will be just like a minute to a non-moving creature. Outside the forest, there were two other kinds of living creatures: those who came out of light matter and the ones that sprouted out of dark matter. The light creatures would fly around like a small speck of light, very close to a firefly or a fairy, while the ones that emerge from the dark matter would hide in the dark. For both of them, time was irrelevant.
