The day
imprisons me between low clouds
that they do not finish crying;
squeeze my soul
looking for the rain.
Dry my eyes
with dreams of love"

El día
me aprisiona entre nubes bajas
que no acaban de llorar;
exprime mi alma
buscando la lluvia.
Seco mis ojos
con sueños de amor

Posed shot a a bluegrass fiddler entertaining in the lobby of a hospital at Christmas in Lorain, Ohio.
Death Valley, California.
There's a bit of water / mud in the riverbed left over from a rain storm several days earlier, and there's a group of hikers on a ridge on the right hand side.
This is another previously unprocessed frame from a 2015 trip.

Don't know if l posted this before or not but since the pandemic hit a lot of my time is spent indoors, looking at photo files. This shot came about in saner times, last summer, when we were mask-less and free to roam. l am basically a candid photographer and had been shooting quietly and relatively unnoticed on a Washington corner when this young man struck up a friendly conversation about my shooting. He didn't object he said, but found it interesting and asked if l'd take his photo too.
When l was a young news photographer (first job, 1965), another shooter on our paper maintained those who used telephoto lenses were basically introverts whereas wide angle shooters were more extrovertists. Maybe there's something to that. l liked to scan a scene through a long lens and pick out individuals in the crowd. We called that head-hunting back in the day.
