This is what a visitor sees when exits from the other side of the upper Antelope Canyon. I've made this photo for the second time after seven years and the result is almost the same; but this time I was more prepared to capture its stunning textures details; then I underexposed a little in order to capture all blue and purple hues that the sensor was able to register, maintaining the strong light coming from the outside. The result is something that I printed on a metal surface like aluminium in a vertical, supersaturated composition.

Perhaps I should have tried some green makeup.
I am starting to think ... that if I do a second year of 365, perhaps i will do a "world through my eyes every day for my 365" ...

Update: to all the TACWD folk ...the assignment said to show what we could do with the color green. i thought about taking photos of green houses and green paint and green nature, etc... and decided to simply go with my green eyes. nothing more than that. i do realize that i could have done this differently, but opted against it. thanks for your input though :)

Operating on train tracks in the famous Maeklong Railway Market. In Thai, they call it the "umbrella pulldown market". As a train approaches, the awnings and merchandise are moved back from the tracks just far enough to allow the train to pass.
I first visited this market in 2011 when it wasn't on the tourism radar - today its a major spectacle of people wanting to see the train squeeze through the market.
I can't believe it... I WON!! :) I entered a photography contest for a provincial weather station called "Meteo Media" and I just got notified that I WON with this capture!!!
I can't believe it,,, and I'm so excited!! I took this capture last Fall (as some of view might remember this shot, since I posted it last year, here)
The station contacted me to tell me the great news and that within the month I will be receiving a small parcel with a few winning gifts. My capture will be either used or exposed on their website or exposed on their TV station. :-))) OMG... so happy!! My first real win in photography!! How fantastic is this!!

In the frightening dark and surroundings like threatening lights, graffiti written walls and pronged agave americana cactus. But, people enjoy cycling, friends are gathered and talk happily, dogs are well fed and relaxed. Everything under a mild climate and below a usually clear and bright sky.
Sarawak Cultural Village is located at the foot of Mount Santubung, 35 km from Kuching city. This is where the annual Rainforest World Music Festival takes place.

Annecy Venetian Carnival
As every year, more than 300 Venetian masks and costumes strolled freely through the streets of old Annecy and on the ledge of the lake. No one knows who is behind these sumptuous and wonderful costumes and masks.
Nicknamed the Venice of the Alps because of its beauty and its canals, the city of Annecy welcomes perfectly this carnival which takes place over 3 days.

Well, now here it's definitely more crowded. After one leaves the broad, bright and glitzy (and deserted) section of the pedestrian zone towards south, crossing Datong Road, the Dehua Road Pedestrian Zone becomes more narrow, even lined with a few trees and - a busy street market.
No way to use the Gorillapod here, so it's shot handheld at ISO 800, 1/30, f/2.8. Unfortunately the high ISO performance of the Panasonic was not that good, definitely more noise/less saturation than a low ISO long exposure.
