I could not resist the sunny (at least sometimes...) weather today. It was a good opportunity to test the Pentacon FM (it had a stuck shutter and serious light leak on the courtains). MIR 1 and Pentacon 135mm lenses were used. The Fomapan 100 was developed in Fomadon R09 for 4 minutes (1:25, 20 degrees, agitated each minute for 10 seconds). Iknew the lenses were OK, and the camera proved its capabilities as well. Despite the complicated (at least to my understadig and repair capabilities) system it woked without the slightest sigh in the cold... Congratulations to craftsmanship!
New addition to my lens collection, I bought this needing some tlc and was going to sell on but I think this is a keeper, very sharp but a heavy bugger.

COMMUNIST CAMERA MONTH LENS TESTS
Take me out to the ball game! I tested this lens at the Toronto Blue Jays Home Opener, 2018. This lens is by far my favourite of the Communist lenses I’ve tested for this project. From the light flare halos to the gorgeous soap bubble bokeh, everything has a beautiful quality to it. The only failing I could see was a tendency towards loss of contrast when shot without a hood. All in all it gets top marks and my recommendation!
Emphasis has been placed on the bokeh (out of focus area)
