The Adelie penquins on Paulet Island were everywhere, with some quite far from the water. The were constantly walking up and down the hills to the water to and from fishing. They would take the catch back to the chicks.

The penguins are not warming up to Marvla's charm...

Adelie penquins are one of the 4 species we saw: Adelies, Chin Straps, Chentoos and the rare Emperors; rare because we saw them so far from their much colder area near the south pole.
