Sir Peter Ricketts, British Ambassador to France, hosted a reception in Paris on the evening of 28 February for UK designers with international fashion buyers and journalists . Organised by UKTI in partnership with The British Fashion Council and the UK Fashion Textiles Association, some 100 British designers showing in Paris networked with many of the world’s leading buyers and fashion journalists in the prestigious Ambassador’s Residence.
Sponsorship partners included The Woolmark Company, Nyetimber Vineyards, The Snowdonia Cheese Co and Penhaligon’s. UKTI has a special relationship with Penhaligon’s to assist their business development in France.

And daisies and dandelions. This is the first volume of The Keys to the Kingdom series. When the final installment of the Harry Potter series came out, I happened to be at the Shannon airport in Ireland. So I bought it at an airport book store. And for everyone who bought the Harrry Potter book, the book store threw in this one in for free, which was probably good marketing. This is not as good and well-written and -designed as Harry Potter, but it's probably fun for most people who like Harry Potter. And I'm even considering buying the next part of this little series ;) It is a book written for children, obviously. It's about magic, and a young boy being chosen to fight to save the world, just when he was bullied and laughed at by his class mates (not to mention just about to die from an astma attack).
