"Hangman Three" was a US Marine infantry platoon deployed to Helmand Province, Afghanistan, in the Musa Qala District. They led the fighting for weeks, rapidly advancing the company’s territory into the volatile northern area of the district, while taking several serious casualties.

To be offered as a print to accompany "First Through the Door", an upcoming book by Daniel Kapavik, their platoon commander.

done in summer school (I guess I just require school for artistic inspiration...no kidding!) during personal fitness...oh boy...am I so excited about that. It's one of those classes you have to take to graduate, and I figured I'd just get it out of the way now so I don't have to worry about it later. Wahoo. I guess this would be an accurate representation of how I feel, given the fact that I usually don't exercise a lot and I was soooo sore today and in mucho pain...ahhh well. At least I got something good out of it!
