Matt Damon, Tian Jing
Дом летающих кинжалов / 十面埋伏 (2004); Герой / 英雄 (2002) и Проклятие золотого цветка / 满城尽带黄金甲 (2006) — когда-то эти красивые аутентичные фильмы гремели в кино, посмотрите если пропустили, Стену снял тот же реж. — Чжан Имоу, и тоже для адептов визуализации, т.е. для меня — дорогой масштабный проект, яркие костюмы/необычные декорации, оператор постарался, плюс неизбежные параллели с Game of Thrones.
Но сценарий/сюжет, увы! Похоже что весь гигантский бюджет (150 млн) ушёл на огромную китайскую массовку и гонорар Дэймону. «Страшные чудовища» в движении выглядят нелепо — как лайт версия из Jurassic Park (и это сразу всё похоронило), а уж остановка их магнитом на расстоянии(!?) вызвала лишь смех.
Порадовала красавица Tian Jing, что касается типа по имени Matt, его очевидно приобрели для вывода фильма на орбиту мирового проката, обычно было наоборот — в голливудские блокбастеры последних лет внедряли парочку китайцев, из маркетинговых соображений, чтобы попасть на бездонный китайский рынок, теперь они купили несколько европейцев для своего проекта — сначала в Китай рванули футболисты за космическими гонорарами, скоро там же будут и артисты.
В итоге получилась история борьбы сплочённого китайского народа, который в одиночку сдерживает белых ходоков, т.е. зелёных драконов — британские учёные поняли наконец для чего построили Великую китайскую стену! Мораль сей басни такова: орды хитрых и кровожадных дикарей с Запада, совершая раз за разом набеги на древнейшую цивилизацию Востока неизбежно разбиваются о Великую стену и так будет всегда /amen.
В начале карьеры Zhang слыл диссидентом, за что получал золотых медведей и львов, но то были фильмы которые я не видел: Жить / 活着 (1994) и Дорога домой / 我的父亲母亲 (1999), например, и вот высокобюджетный ура-патриотический милитари опус.
В локальном прокате они конечно всё отобьют, любителям арт-хауса думаю не понравится — нет тут драмы/сомнений и внутренней борьбы — это не наши проблемы, подумали китайцы, дружно похрустывая попкорном и вонзая миллиард игрушечных кинжалов в нарисованных драконов.
