Je ne l'ai accueilli qu'une fois. Après sa toilette méticuleuse, il s'est assoupi puis est reparti, à mon insu... ailleurs !

I only welcomed him once. After his meticulous grooming, he dozed off and then left without my knowledge...elsewhere!

This big guy/gal waited long enough for me to get a closeup on its feet. The Great egret feet have a very prehistoric look to them. I'm frequently amazed at how much strength they have to grasp and to lean on these thin digits.

Happy Bench Monday!

I got a pedicure on Saturday. There's a nice little nail salon at the plaza across the street from our town-house's little sub-division-thing so I walked: it was beautiful. Sunny and in the late seventies (degrees in farenheight).

The whole reason I need to go was because my toe (nails) got long and a few were/are ingrown so they were hurting. One night last week I decided to use a tiny, curved clippers to try and free my feet... I totally butchered them as a result.

But anywho! The lady who gave me the pedicure (nail technician) was new, super-nice and very skilled. Her prognosis: come back every 3 1/2 weeks for optimum toe happiness. I am sure going to have a hard time with that! [/grin]

i did my pedicure at a local nail salon called 'Jo's Nails'... their service is very nice and i'm definitely going back there again! (signed up for three session package actually...)
