This wall is pushing in or also know as a bowing wall or buckling wall or bulging wall. That means that pressure from the outside is moving this wall. Our expansive soils in Colorado will expand and contract and that pushes against the wall causing cracking, bowing, buckling, tilting - all horizontal movement.

Once the piering process is complete, all support systems are out of sight! Piering the house from the inside is cost effective because on the outside of the home, Peak's crew starts at ground level; but, on the inside, Peak's crew starts well below ground level. New concrete fills in the excavation for the piers and levels off the floor. Now, the carpet padding and carpet that was pulled back can be put back to where it belongs. Very little evidence, if any at all, of the construction process! What a difference! For more information, contact Peak Structural. We’re located at 600 17th St. Suite 2800 South, Denver, CO 80202.
