Next in the series "Unseen Thessaloniki" is a picture taken in the former camp "Pavlos Melas", which happens to be one of my favourite shootning spots. I asked Pavlo why he likes to playing such sad tunes in his Sax...he answered sad travelers, whom had lost their love once never to win them back again tend to donate more to his box than couples in deep embrace. I gave him two quarters.
He said he was Russian, I knew he was probably lying with his strong Italian accent. I knew everyone these days were doing the same.

St. Paul’s Greek Orthodox church (“Ághios Pávlos” — “Apóstolos Pávlos” / ῞Αγιος Παῦλος — Ἀπόστολος Παῦλος ) is seen at top left and White Tower ( “ Lefkós Pyrgos ” / Λευκὸς Πύργος ) below, at the centre of the same frame.
White Tower and churches are most beloved and iconic symbols or landmarks of Thessaloniki, Greece. Often the people who live in the city take the opportunity to enjoy strolling by the quay during a bright sunny day, even in the bitter cold of winter (photograph taken in January 2019, after the repeated consecutive snow storms that struck N. Greece).
