June 2021, Megève seems to be on a break before the summer season.
Not quite deserted, just surveyed by some tourists and locals.
Black and white accentuates this impression of emptiness while focusing attention on details of the city.
Take a moment for yourself. Just pause and consider what you are satisfied with.

A pair of Acorn Woodpeckers was in constant motion, depositing nuts in crevices in a stand of oaks in the Chisos Basin of Big Bend National Park. Just before flying off to other parts of the park, one froze on an exposed branch just long enough for a few portrait shots.

Moment de répit en fin de journée pour cette renarde qui a chassé durant tout le jour pour nourrir sa nombreuse portée. Un de ses petits s’est approché tout doucement d’elle en quête d’un peu d’attention. Moment privilégié où on voit la scène dans le viseur en retenant ses larmes d’émotion et en se disant à quelle point la nature et la vie peuvent être belles

This has to be one of the finest views in England, especially when the early morning light brings out the autumn colours on the fells.
The Lake District was the first National Park in Britain and became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2017.

Bis zum 13.09.2020 pausieren die EuroCity Züge zwischen der bayerischen Landeshauptstadt München und der Schweiz, Grund genug die letzten hochsommerlichen Züge über zwei Tage hinweg bildlich festzuhalten.
Den Anfang machte 218 401 mit dem EC 196 von München nach Zürich HB, hier bei Wolfsried an der Weißenbachmühle.
