This is the Paulding Quarry in far-northwestern Ohio. The quarry opened in 1949 and the rocks are used to make cement on-site. The target unit is the Middle Devonian Dundee Limestone.
The upper quarry wall seen here consists of interbedded fossiliferous limestones and shales of the Middle Devonian Silica Formation. The fossils are typical mid-Paleozoic marine invertebrates such as brachiopods, bryozoans, corals, crinoids, and trilobites. Below the Silica is the Dundee Limestone, which lacks interbedded shales.

May 1, 2024. Paulding County, GA's Engine & Rescue 9 crew are utilizing a warm sunny day to do some company training.
Engine 9 is a 2022 Frieghtliner M2/Rosenbaur, 750gal/1250gpm and serves the Pine Valley Community.
I am not yet convinced it is pretty. Also I think "Auglaize" should be pronounced "oh-GLAY-zee" instead of "AW-glaze," which sounds awful to my ears, and which clumsily interrupts the rhythm and flow of any phrase or sentence in which it occurs.

In Defiance, Ohio, on October 15th, 2022, the Auglaize River as viewed in Bronson Park. Unincorporated Defiance Township is on the opposite riverbank.
The Auglaize River flows to the Maumee River, which flows to Maumee Bay in Lake Erie.
