" Now, I want you to remember. . .
. . .that no bastard ever won a war. . .
. . .by dying for his country.
He won it. . .
. . .by making the other poor dumb
bastard die for his country. "
Last day of our walk and the weather looking dangerous. Fortunately it stayed mostly dry except for one quick shower that caught us in the open later in the day.

Currently still experimenting on the front slope of the chases and what wheels to use for this scale. It might take another week to finish this Patton Tank.

I make it to Patton Avenue in the matter of seconds. The police barricade surrounds a dark figure that perfectly resembles the sightings. A dark suited flash carrying a large scythe. A little on the nose if you ask me.
”Hello, Black Flash. Who are you?”
“Your reverse… Your worst nightmare.” The figure says as he stares daggers my way.
”My worst nightmare isn’t normally about someone dressing up as me, but okay. Let’s see where you go with this. Who are you, really?”
“Don’t you recognize the voice? I’m crushed.” The Black Flash says as a slight smirk grows on his face. Honestly I don’t recognize the voice. It’s gruff voice, not Batman level of gruff, but it’s not a voice I remember.
”I’m sorry. I don’t recognize the voice.”
”How soon you are to forget the dead, Flash.”
‘The dead?’ That’s impossible… but wait… The note. The note that Commissioner Bellows received. We had our theories but they all didn’t make sense. It couldn’t be.
”Still no ringing? Maybe this will spark some memories…” The figure raises his hand up to his head and begins to lift his mask. He abruptly stops as it reveals his mouth. ”Y’know… never mind. You’ll have to earn that. Oh, and your little device…”
The Black Flash disappears in a blink of an eye and reappears behind me. He whispers in my ear.
”It didn’t work…”

At WWB Anaheim 2017, I picked up Cody's M48 Patton. (You can see it in my WWB moc photos) I had a distaste for the wheel design as it would eventually ruin the tires. So I built the tank without the wheels and it sat that way for months before I did anything with it. Eventually I replaced the brown on the back, designed and built a wheel design for the road wheels and the return rollers and changed the canvas cover to black as the tan, dark tan and reddish brown didn't look right. Overall this is my 2nd favorite BM kit, the first being the M60 which is getting similar upgrades and will be posted soon.
