Not as elastic as ribbing, but a stretchy fabric. Walker recommends knitting with smallish needles and I agree that it looks best when knit at a tighter gauge than recommended for the yarn. If I did it again, I'd probably go down at least a needle size.

This is the front brake on a Harley Davidson FLHX. You can tell by looking at it that it's anxious to get on the road this Spring!
I liked the patterns made by the wind blowing the grass and funnelling through the dunes. Taken at Kinshaldy.
ODC- Wave for 9 November. I used Topaz Simplify 4 to change what was a black and white cushion pattern.
This was taken in Yokohama close to our hotel where we stayed overlooking the port at Sakuragicho.

A modern day TV test pattern. Test patterns were first used to assist TV set owners with adjusting their sets, but today's are for studio use and are a rare sight over the air (a local station was airing this on an unused sub-channel until programming was added).
A broken sign post leans against a chain link fence. The texture of the fence and post, and even the background, lend a dimensional quality to this photograph. The grain of the wood and the repeating links of the fence are all orderly patterns that enhance the attractiveness of the photo and create a rhythm which the eyes enjoy following.
