This pattern is likely the most useful for adjusting your HDTV. It consists of two groups of three concentric circles against an 18% gray background. The left starts at black and progresses in two 5% linear steps. The left one starts at white and decreases in two 5% linear steps.

On a properly-adjusted TV you should be able to distinguish each of the steps.

I looked out my hotel window and thought the light and patterns were pretty cool.

The "fabric" of nature is amazing with its patterned beauty. This animal is called the "thirteen lined" ground squirrel. The stripes play games with my eyes. One website called it a "federation ground squirrel" because the pattern looks like stars and stripes. This shot was taken in Fargo, North Dakota.

Suspension bridge.

"The chain Bridge is a footbridge over the River Dee at Berwyn, Llangollen. A pathway from Berwyn railway station, now part of the Llangollen Railway, leads under a subway and down to the bridge and then across to the Chain Bridge Hotel on the other side. It was one of the first chain bridges in the world.

It was originally built in 1813 by local coal merchant, Exuperius Pickering to open up a transport route for coal, lime and stone from the Shropshire Union Canal across the River Dee, to Telford's recently completed London to Holyhead road ( A5.) The bridge allowed Pickering to bypass the Llangollen toll bridge further downstream and transfer coal from his mines near Acrefair up the canal towards Corwen.

It was later rebuilt using the existing chains by Henry Robertson a railway engineer and industrialist in 1876 and later by his son Sir Henry Beyer Robertson who was the head of Brymbo Steelworks in 1929, who rebuilt the suspension bridge we see today, reusing the old chain links as suspension cables. It has recently been completely restored after years of closure using HLF funding and is now a popular link for tourist who can travel by train from Llangollen to Berwyn station, hop off and cross this marvelous suspension bridge, meet the canal at the other side and take a stroll to Horseshoe Falls, where the World Heritage Site begins."

Coro.

This was my first attempt at knitting a pattern and my second time knitting in the round on multiple needles. It's supposed to be for an iPod, but I kept pulling the yarn tight every time I switched colors so it ended up way too small. It may fit a nano, or a cell phone! I'm going to make another one.

My new years eve dress.

Gray taffeta with black flock printed pattern on, the dress is worn over a corset for a accented waist and under the dress is a separate underskirt to give it more fullness. There is gray piping in the seams on the bodice and a hidden zipper in center back, there is also a matching detachable bow. I made the pattern for this dress to.

Let's Party!!!!...Ahh, the Allium...with star shaped flowers catching sunlight and forming a complex display like a garden disco ball, it's a party on a single stem!

... Bigger than a softball, this species is cultivated as an ornamental (Allium Globemaster)...but is better known as the giant onion. It does indeed come from the family of onions-Allium is Latin for garlic, but this particular species has a non-onion aroma and is actually used in many perfumes throughout the world, and is known to attract butterflies.

Do beware, tho: do not let dogs or cats ingest, as it can be poisonous to them.
