A sandy area near the Laguna Madre, with some patterns carved after a storm had dumped a substantial amount of water on it. This is near sunset, and I was struck by the resemblance to an areal view of a desert.

Went to the butterfly park to capture some shots of - butterflies of course. But there were none. May be it wasn't the season (?). Nevertheless, the flora was interesting enough too. This one is a random leaf of a random plant there.
