I Don't Understand Pattern Photography That Much.So It was my 1st try!

After being totally immersed and awed by the vastness of nature's grandeur it was fun to have something that could be wiped out with a single footprint catch my eye.

I went to a small art exhibition called Floribunda recently. It had a number of paintings, floral dresses and a row of flowers entombed in clear resin. Included was this interesting NO painting which I didn't take the details of but was rather beautiful.

For the Mosaic Montage Monday theme of pattern mixing. Included is an overlay texture of dots and dashes. A pattern imposed by man.

The orange lift bridge in Hamilton made amazing reflections in the water.

I found this pattern on a log in the woods. I guess they were made by bugs while tree was still bark on the trunk.

Waves from raindrops falling into the pond forming nice interference patterns.

Occasionally I take a photo and it doesn't quite look like the scene. This was one subject. It is actually the detail from the side of a large patterned iceberg, sitting on Jökulsárlón beach in Iceland, but the way the light fell meant the patterns looked somewhat different. I think it looks like an abstract painting. Someone else thought it looked like a huddle of penguins!
