I think I managed to learn a protection spell. But I didn't know that my patron would be a dragon.
And I think I prefer a motorcycle over a broom.

The boss
Agra (India) - We are in the scrap dealers sector not far from the large Red Fort market. The man owns a lathe and milling machine. He is not the one who controls the machine tools, he has a worker who takes care of it. The boss is in charge of collecting the bills.
While the basic concept of a buffet dates to the 17th century, the All-American, all-you-can-eat buffet can be traced to Las Vegas - a fact that surprises literally nobody.
Herb Cobb Mcdonald (sigh) introduced the concept in 1946 at the El Rancho. Frank Sinatra didn't play Vegas until 1951. That's how early the whole buffet thing was.
Herb pitched the idea as a place where you could eat "every possible variety of hot and cold entrees to appease the howling coyote in your innards." Gross, Herb.
This photo is of a Chinese restaurant advertising a buffet. The first Chinese buffet was probably in 1949 in California. It was Chang's Restaurant run by Mrs. Jean Chang.
During the spread of buffets at restaurants, normal folks would hold "buffet style dinners" at their houses or at weddings and events. It's easy to assume that Herb (and likely many other folks) took that idea and decided to turn it into a restaurant.
In Independence, Kansas the China Buffet closed down awhile back. Maybe a decade ago. The New China Buffet, opened in the same location, closed within the last couple of years or so.

A medium sizedl aircraft which is produced by Patron industries. The craft designed for low altitude flying and fight against guerilla forces. That's why it has a heavy armor and high maneuverability but it is not so fast. Deployed with one anti tank/aircraft gun, one anti infantry gun and also can drop some bombs from the section under cockpit.
Managua, Nicararagua.
This photo is from what is now the Nicaraguan National Police Academy's (ACAPOL) headquarter, but what used to be - before the revolution of 1979 - the place where the last ruling dictator from the Somoza clan, Anastasio "Tachito" Somoza Debayle, housed his mistress/unofficial second wife, Dinorah Sampson. It is located on the Carretera Sur in Managua.
This late 1960s/early 1970s style house- which is part of much larger grounds where new police recruits are trained - still contains many original traces. It is a fascinating piece of Nicaraguan modern history and one of these places where you really do wish that the walls (and the swimmingpools!) could speak. The material layers of modern Nicaraguan history sit literally side by side - from Somoza's mistress and the high-life of the Managuan elite, to the Sandinista police in 1979 and now the PolicÃa Nacional de Nicaragua. All in less than 40 years.

Construction on Burgos' Gothic Cathedral began in 1221 and spanned mainly from the 13th to 15th centuries. It has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The west front is flanked by towers terminating in octagonal spires covered with open stonework traceries. The middle section, which serves as an entrance, has three alabaster pilasters, the intercolumnar spaces bearing panel-pictures representing the martyrdom of saints. The façade possesses ornate and fantastic surface decoration.
The octagonal chapel of the Condestable, in florid, thus highly sculpted, Gothic design, has a roof finished with balustraded turrets, needle-pointed pinnacles and statues. In the lower portion, coats of arms, shields and crouching lions have been worked into the ensemble. The exterior of the sacristy is decorated with carved traceries, figures of angels and armoured knights. The elaborate tabernacle is composed of two octagonal sections in Corinthian style.
