Another view of the pathway that heads right down into the middle of Jigoku-Dani (Hell Valley) in Noboribetsu.
After this we had to head back to the bus to start making our way back to Sapporo, with a stop at Chitose Airport on the way. Overall the day tour was a nice way to see a few things quickly and see some nice views of the countryside, but we had so little time to actually look around and do things at each site. What we may do next year is just take a trip to Lake Shikotsu for the whole day and take our time to look around and mess around on the lake. To avoid the heat we may have to go early in Spring or in October though.
For the Pathways section of my FAD course I researched and carried out practical work on the subject of self portraiture. Particularly photographing private moments you only share with yourself.
This pathway can be used to avoid some of the PI crowds. The small stage back there has already been walled off.

The pathway system in Reston includes over 60 miles of pathways with over 100 bridges. One of the most popular amenities provided by Reston Association, the pathways are used year round by residents for recreation as well as routes to work and shopping.
