The annual Thredbo Blues festival is a great excuse for good food, good wine, good company and good music. It also provides opportunities for alpine summer walks.

This is one of the last places for my photo tour with Greg Currier. Here he showed me a few techniques and ideas of composing interesting shots (this is NOT one of them). Lead in lines, what to include/not include in the fore/background, what tickles a viewer's curiosity, how to use the Rule of Thirds creatively, etc.
BUT I can't help but to take a set of brackets for some serious HDR!! :D

Visiting Goat Haunt, one of the park's more remote and tranquil locations, offers opportunities to explore Glacier away from the crowds. Visitors to Goat Haunt arriving by boat may disembark at the dock and explore the exhibits at the International Peace Park shelter and walk along the paved pathway to the Ranger Station.
