This path way leads to a restaurant that features an amazing view of the valley. The restaurant is located in a very small town with almost no resident population.

Pathways Spiritual Sanctuary is a quiet place to spend time walking, sitting, contemplating, reflecting or healing in the natural landscape of an eighty-acre private ranch in the sacred Black Hills of South Dakota.

Upon entry into the outdoor sanctuary, visitors are greeted by sculptor Buck McCain's monumental bronze, The Invocation. A one-mile pathway through the forest and meadow will lead to other inspirational sculptures, hand-hewn benches and a meditative labyrinth.

The theme of Pathways Spiritual Sanctuary is "Beyond Belief." Pathways is a place that is open for all who choose to come; a place that is beyond the diversity of beliefs, race, religion, cultures, personal histories and life experiences.

Pathways Spiritual Sanctuary is founded on the virtues of love, compassion, tolerance and forgiveness. Within the Sanctuary all can walk as one and honor the sacredness of life and Mother Earth.

Open daily from 8:00 until dusk through October 15th

This was my absolute all time favorite picture I took the whole time I was on vacation. I have been messing with it for weeks now and could never get it to look the way I wanted. So decided to post it and walk away. I sharpened and turned the color temp up a little warmer. This was taken coming down the mountain from my Aunt's house in Sevierville, TN.

Trying to create visual compositions with the arching pathways we use daily.

Pathway es un visualizador local (en tu mac) de la wikipedia, posee la posibilidad de ver el mapa de relaciones (thesaurus) de lo que vas desencadenando al navegar...interesante, para tener otra medida de la wiki, sus relaciones...

I climbed up on the roof and took this photo. The last five to six meters up to the upper yard is out of the frame.

There are approximately 1400 stones in the pathway. The height difference from the street to the upper yard is two floors, which means about 5 meters. That's why I needed so curvy a path.

Cheers!

The on-campus chappel at Forman Christian College Lahore

Steps taken, illuminated, engulfed inherently. Oriented in lands of disorientation.

During time-cycled acceptance, only the darker translucent tagalong below speaks your own language. Conversation within shadows, faceless reflections. An outline of yourself...

Up against law, parallels do not intersect. Bound to opposition, when paths do cross they do not join.

Steps taken, inherent illumination shifts position. You are now spoken to from new angles. Momentarily paused your cast diffusion interrupted. Connected; merged with surroundings. The depth of translucency emitting familiar voice takes stronger presence on direct opposition to your illumination.

Steps taken; never will intersect with your parallel. Never crossing paths or jettisoned poles apart.

Steps taken in harmony; a rhythmic dance. Within your pause, reflection within eyes of another. Your parallel will never intersect. It will travel alongside.

One day trip to Kobe with Flickr friends Eric-san, Roger-san and Kome-san.

This photo is of a pathway in High Park. I think this photo really shines a spotlight on the fallen leaves that lay on the ground. There is nothing crisper than the crunch of leaves under your feet as you walk down the road.

If I were to retake this photo, I would have gotten the leaves in front in focus rather than the strip in the front middle.
