The reason I love this special place......they left it as natural as they can yet everywhere you walk.......they have incorporated perrenials that just accentuate the land........anyone who lives near Victoria.....if you haven't already been there.......it is a true delight to visit this beautiful and very special place............and a sweet experience for photographers anytime of the year...........
Marwell Glow is the Chrsitmas lights show that Marwell ZXoo put on every year. Always a nice evening walking around to see what is on show each year.
Joe and I took a trip down to Calgary this weekend to spend some time enjoying the fantastic architecture in the downtown area. One of the the more fascinating things we saw was the Peace Bridge which spans across the Bow river. Although it was met with some controversy when it was being built, it has become one of Calgary's most popular attractions.
Bournda means ‘place of tea tree and kangaroos’: much of the Sandy Creek Loop Track in the south end of Bournda National Park laces in and out of Myrtaceae – commonly known as paperbarks, honey-myrtles, or tea-trees. Following the six kilometre loop up and down over rough terrain, we are regularly rewarded with views of Sandy Creek.

This pathway provides access to Victoria Beach in Laguna Beach, Ca. Victoria Beach attracts both average beachgoers and photographers alike. This means that occasionally people will walk into your shot, but it is worth it for the scenery the beach offers. I took this photo after the sun had set as I was heading back to where my friends and I had parked. Hope you all like it!

Saturday challenge - Paths and tracks -
This week's challenge is to take a photo of a path or track, urban or countryside, with or without people (but not including concrete or tarmac roads or railways).
(You can see a tiny section of concrete, which is the pathway around the golf course. So hot and humid at the moment, that we really didn't feel like going further out and about)

Another shot from yesterday in the asylum. I'm just going to copy and paste the description to this pic too since it's pretty much the same info... except this was shot in one of the hallways in a random building (the most boring one we saw lol) there.
I met up with the gorgeous and sweet Amy Spanos yesterday to go urbexing. We went to this abandoned derelict asylum and took a gazillion pics, walked around for about 5 hours and only managed to see about 1/4 of it!! The place is huuuuuuuge. I have some cuts on my legs now and loads of bruises which I didnt even notice yesterday but it was worth it. Definitely going again and would love to go with Amy again too since it was an enjoyable and successful day! Thanks a lot for going Amy and I hope you are feeling better (she was stabbed by a giant bear with huge metal claws!)
