CCF 2017 CCF PATH Grammercy -1824 4th Avenue Los Angeles, CA 90019

In 1996, a group of social workers and child advocates gathered together with the shared vision of creating a safe, nurturing home environment where at-risk young families could flourish. Today, PATH Gramercy is a professionally staffed, private non-profit corporation providing service-enriched, affordable housing and licensed childcare to single parent families.

PATH Services provides the support that homeless individuals and families need in order to successfully transition from living on the street to thriving in homes of their own. High-quality supportive services are critical to ensuring that the people we serve are able to not only move into permanent homes, but stay in permanent homes long-term. The services we provide are available to anyone who is homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.

PATH Ventures is the arm of PATH that builds homes for clients. PATH Ventures is helping end homelessness by building affordable rental homes that provide homeless and low-income individuals and families with the support they need to succeed. We are working to have 1,000 apartments built, under construction, and/or funded by the end of 2015.

Hartland Point on the North West tip of Devon, South West England. Weekend away 10 and 11 May 2008. A rugged stretch of Coastline with high cliffs and deep valleys that lead to the sea.

A beautiful place for walking the South West Coast Path, sketching, swimming, surfing and taking photos of all the wonderful things around. It was the high season of my favourite flower, sea pinks also known as thrift.

I bought these solar lights at Walmart 7 years ago but never put them in the ground. Neil found the box in the garage this weekend and installed them.

Even if they never get any brighter than this, it'll be an improvement over our usually pitch black path!

The way to the water is on a carpet of leaves. No wind, no footsteps.

There's a million of these. Portland's is nowhere near as bike friendly by comparison.

Today I found a little path

that seemed to call to me

so i went down the tiny trail

to see what I could see.....

It seemed to go for miles and miles

this lonesome path I'd found

and i could feel summers warmth

as i walked upon the ground.....

deep within the woods i saw

a tiny bench of stone

Just waiting for a visitor

where once had been a home

As I sat upon the mossy stone

I felt Gods spirit close to mine

and i asked that He hear all the prayers

in this world, this day in time....

I asked that this war be ended and

the poor be blessed with more

I asked that all the children be

kept safe from shore to shore.

I asked for many blessings as

I sat upon that stone

For i knew that He was listening

I did not fell I was alone....

I knew i should be going for

this day so soon would end...

and I noticed that the tiny path

was much wider than it'd been.

I went around a bend and saw

a place that seemed to be

as peacfull as the tiny path

where life seemed so care free....

I knew that i was close to home

So i took time to sit some more

and wished i had a cabin of

my own upon this shore.....

I saw the shadows forming on

the water and i knew......

this journey that i took today

was close to being through.....

i saw some stones upon the path

and paused to rest & sit awhile..

I knew this was a special place

I had to share somehow....

I huried for i knew that this

fine day was ending fast

and wished all days could be this way

that the peacefullness could last..

I looked up and saw what seemd to be

a white cross painted in the sky

and felt as though the Angels were

smiling down and saying hi......

The sun was setting when i reached

home safe once more again

i watched it dance before my eyes

and could only say Amen....
