The start of the thames path between Putney and Hammersmith; taken at lunch time in October
Hammersmith can be seen in the Horizon on the right of the image and it is about 20 minutes walk from here to the Hammersmith Bridge.
Please note that what the wiki article below fails to mention is that not all part of the thames path is accessible especially around the East London Dock area where there is constant development and the rich and affluent claim part of the path for themselves.
Within Hammersmith, there is a section of the thames path that is locked by the residents at sundown as well . . . it is supposedly covered by a bye-law and I shall have to check and confirm next time I am there.

The Thames Path is a National Trail, opened in 1996, following the length of the River Thames from its source near Kemble in Gloucestershire to the Thames Barrier at Charlton. It is about 184 miles long.
The path allows of much of its length, particularly outside the London area, to be walked, or sometimes cycled, using the towpath.
It was interesting to see this every day when i walked home from school it inspired me so much and the piece next to it was dope too, cant remember who it was though. Dont know if this is still there.. I just loved how he took his lowercase H and streched it and connected it with the S,, That just made me think you can doo abosolutly anthing you want and there is no rules of limits, just get rediculous with it
