This week I'm posting images that show some of the influence I've had from my good Flickr friend Gary - A.K.A. The Pentax Hammer.
Today I'm going to link you to my all time favorite photo of Garys. I've walked the area where he took it many times, and have tried to get a similar image. So far I have nothing that I like as well as his. I'm pretty sure mine is in the same vicinity, because I saw Gary, dressed as Red Riding Hood, skipping along here, with his camera in a basket. Anyway, you can see his awesome image HERE. He did an amazing job on the Orton effect.

Some guy with a Target shopping cart stripped the trail lighting underneath Highway 101 on the Guadalupe River Trail just north of San Jose International Airport.
The wooded path around Lake Zasada where I fell. Hand held with the Graflex Century Graphic using the Kalart rangefinder. Looks a bit soft, but probably because I was still a bit shaken up after the fall and had to shoot wide open with low shutter speed.
