February 1, 2014: Reeds along the Marsh Trail in the Parker River National Wildlife Refuge

The castle "Roggenbach" was built in the 12th century by the Count of Nellenberg. The name is derived from the small river "Steina" (English: "rock"). One route to this quite inaccessible "Schloss" is by a path running along the Steina river. To the north, remains of a second castle "Steinegg" are located.

Trekked this path. No words to explain the beauty of deep redwood forests!

when I look outside I can hardly imagine that not so long ago nature was still in deep sleep.....

The mind is a labyrinth, ladies and gentlemen, a puzzle. And while the paths of the brain are plainly visible, its ways deceptively apparent, its destinations are unknown. Its secrets still secret. And, if we are honest, it is the lure of the labyrinth that draws us to our chosen field to unlock those secrets

This one is heavily altered. I played around in photoshop a bit and that is what came out. I might put out alternate versions some time. We'll see... Anyway, enjoy! :D

This trail was very green and lush. There was also no one on it so I decided to take this picture.

Say 3 of the Inca Trail, ending up at Winay Wayna. The paths are really clear, and we couldnt belive they were so old, but still in such good condition.

The path narrows and twists the further into Linear Park you go. The park is also known as Channing H. Philbrick Park and is located in Penfield, NY. I highly recommend checking it out if you've never been.

If the path be beautiful,

Let us not ask where it leads.
