A shaded path found in one of my favorite spots. This path winds along beside a river and you can find a wide variety of wildlife in the area.

It's not the mountain we conquer, but ourselves.

Another fine day in the Rocky Mountains near Jasper National Park. Todays hike, though long, was an easy walk for us, and offered great views from the top, and nice ones from along the way, not to mention wildflowers and birds. The brewery at the trailhead offers a free beer to anyone who shows them a selfie from the summit. This has just become our new favourite hike!

I can't help but wonder about the people at the end of the tunnel. Where are they heading? Perhaps to a secret cult meeting, or to some kinky orgy? Maybe it's a combination of the two? At any rate, this is indeed a photogenic tunnel as I've returned to photograph it several times.

Path to Niflheimr

Hello everybody, finally I started to process some of the pictures captured in Iceland during my recent trips. This is the first pure landscape that I publish and what better choice than the most photographed mountain of the island? Well besides the thousands of pictures taken in front of the Vestrahorn, that place is really impressive, you can feel the magic of northern Mythology and sagas.

The pure black sand and the path made of frost and ice has reminded me an otherworldly scene worthy of the name Niflheimr. I can imagine the last path of a dead Viking warrior walking across a misty land toward the afterlife.

Thanks to the huge success of our recent trip me and Javier de la Torre Photography are planning to reschedule another winter adventure in the Mythic Iceland, at the moment we don't have a date but the waiting list is open to everybody.

The picture is a Time Blending processed with my Dark Processing

The town of Leigh-on-Sea is situated on the northern side of the estuary of the river Thames, only a few miles from the open waters of the North Sea to the east, and a similar distance from the Kent coast to the south. The coastal environs of the town feature a nature reserve at Two Tree Island and a centrally located beach. At low tide, Leigh's forshore becomes characterised by a wide expanse of mud flats and creeks, extending out towards the deep water channel of the Thames, (Yantlet Channel)

In the Portuguese language, a stone path is associated with hardship. Expressions like "his life is a stone path" or "I've walked the stone path all my life" all refer to leading a hard life.

Now, imagine you are barefoot....

Masterpiece of architecture popular in the dock palafítico Carrasqueira, unique in Europe, is built on wooden stakes irregular, seemingly fragile, the decades of 1950 and 1960, serving as the fishing boats dock there that acostam. Why are buried in the mud, sometimes in the water, according to the tides.

Integrated in the natural reserve of the Sado Estuary, the riverside village retains an impressive network of piling that extends hundreds of meters by the muddy estuaries of the river Sado.

Point tourist attraction, is one of the most visited sites in the county, the pier remains, however, to fulfill the mission for which it was built: allow access to the boats of fishermen, even during low tide.

Over the many piers rise from small houses built of wood, which serve as storage.

I will be uploading more photos soon. I won't be able to comment on your photos today, sorry!

This path in the woods, bounded by two infinite parallel rows of trees, reminded me the setting of some fairy tale.
