My last longish walk of 2025 on a frosty misty morning. Setting out from Little Kimble this 8.14km walk took in Ellesborough, Beacon Hill, Chequer's Knap and back along the Chilterns Railway Princes Risborough to Aylesbury branch line.
This is a walk I have not done before made all the more interesting by not being able to see any landmarks through the mist, so a little bit of guesswork in places!
And then my drive home was in bright sunshine with clear blue skies!!

I started to think about the path to follow and small points on the map before I reach some bigger goal.
This is one of my favorites shots ever, because of the sentiment to those mountains, because I like its natural, simple beauty. It's so calm.

A muddy trail leads the way almost skyward on the side of the cliff at Ardmore, Waterford. It's a great way to catch some of the nice scenery around the area..;-) Happy Fence Friday.
Someone keeps a path mown through the wildflowers, fireweed, past it's prime but still colourful amongst the fishermen's summer cabins and fishing sheds on the "summer head" of Cowhead, NL in the evening light.
