In a way working with pearls is grounding for me, next month it will be 9 years since my first jewelry lesson. I was in a complete different field, really didn't know what to do with myself and had far more money than I do now but I simply wasn't happy.
Sometimes things magically come your way, even when you, yourself don't even know what you need. All I knew is I needed something I wouldn't get bored of, and with jewelry everyday I can make something different, plus I make the decisions and work on my future with my own two hands, this is what makes me leap out of bed every morning and go to bed grateful after a full day. There was no turning back and I quit my job (as a crazy rushed decision), didn't have a lot of tools, took two hour bus rides to go to class or to polish something.
What does this have to do with pearls?, back then I was still learning and I didn't know how to set stones at all.. and for my first two years making jewelry my pearl collections fed me, paid for my rent and helped me get the right tools... Over time you do develop love, bonds and memories with certain materials and techniques because they are all small elements of you, your story and growth.

Past, present, and future Kerry.
This was my first run at the assignment.
I was a bit excited to get started and didn't change my jeans/socks between past/present, which detracts a lot..
for some reason these pictures look really grainy to me, I don't know why.
Kinda frustrating..

holding seeds of future flowers
already seeing them clearly
they hold the genetic blueprint of their ancestors
a kind of eternal circle of past-present-future
going round and round
She pauses a moment
offering her own wishes/blessings
her own offering of praise for each day in the Sun
a wish to her offspring
for Light
for water living
for endless glory
for being a sanctuary for the Nectar of Immortality

My brother-in-law Madison Harvey was a door gunner with the Seawolves of HAL-3 in Vietnam. There is a small display of HAL-3 momentos on the Yorktown, and a Huey basecamp adjacent to the ships.
"How many roads must a man walk down before you call him a man? How many seas must a white dove sail before she sleeps in the sand? Yes, and how many times must the cannon balls fly before they're forever banned?
The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind.
The answer is blowin' in the wind."--Bob Dylan
This embattled bible from the mid 19th century belongs to one of my best friends. Is was passed on to her after her Uncle Milt passed away. The day she opened it for the first time, was the 23rd of March... the same day, in 1847, it turns out, her great-great-great grandmother carefully penned a notation into these cherished scriptures.
Another evolving story in the fabric of energy that is the documentary about this most unusual town, Viroqua.

Experts at Kaisilver Thailand, explain the possible symbolism of three diamond pendants. The information is also relevant, to other jewelry like rings with 3 gemstones or diamonds.

Past – Cherishing memories and experiences.
