There is a state where there is neither earth, nor water, nor heat, nor air; neither infinity of space nor infinity of consciousness, nor nothingness, nor perception nor non-perception; neither this world nor that world, neither sun nor moon. It is the uncreate. That I term neither coming nor going nor standing; neither death nor birth. It is without stability, without change; it is the eternal which never originates and never passes away. There is the end of sorrow. ~ THE BUDDHA

The theater could accommodate a number of approximately 8500 people, more than the estimated number of Amman theater. Petra Theater follows similar architectural patterns of Roman theaters, which enhances superior acoustics

Dedicated to my Father: Albert J. Jolicoeur Jr. 10/24/24 - 6/6/13

My father passed away today (6/6/13) after a long illness. He was one of my biggest fans, and will be missed dearly by his close family and friends.

A proud veteran who served in the Pacific Theater during WWII. Always a smile, always a joke, always whistling.

Thank you, Dad, for everything you did!

A moment between spaces – the movement of a single person caught between lines, light, and silence. Architecture becomes a stage, and walking turns into choreography.
