Dies ist eine Zeit der Unruhen.Ich denke es kann niemandem Schaden einmal in sich zu gehen und sich wirklich Gedanken über die eigenen Taten zu machen.Ob diese überhaubt noch etwas mit dem Glauben an sich zu tun haben, oder nicht vielmehr Hass und Dummheit eine entscheidende dabei Rolle spielen.

In the heart of the Philippines, a vibrant Christmas scene unfolds, adorned with twinkling lights and colorful ornaments, surrounded by a majestic Christmas tree, its branches heavy with sparkling baubles reflecting the festive spirit. Laughter fills the air as children have their eyes wide with wonder, while families, both young and old, gather to share in the warmth of the season. The lively colors of the decorations dance against the night sky, creating a cheerful atmosphere that invites everyone to embrace the Christmas spirit.
In het hart van de Filipijnen ontvouwt zich een levendig kersttafereel, versierd met fonkelende lichten en kleurrijke ornamenten. We zien omringd een majestueuze kerstboom, waarvan de takken zwaar zijn van sprankelende kerstballen die de feestelijke geest weerspiegelen. Gelach vult de lucht terwijl kinderen ogen vol verwondering hebben, en gezinnen, zowel jong als oud, samenkomen om de warmte van het seizoen te delen. De levendige kleuren van de versieringen dansen tegen de nachtelijke hemel, wat een vrolijke sfeer creëert die iedereen uitnodigt om de feestelijke geest te omarmen
Sa pusod ng Pilipinas, isang makulay na eksenang Pasko ang lumalantad, napapalamutian ng nagniningning na ilaw at makukulay na palamuti. Isang magarang Christmas tree, na ang mga sanga ay puno ng kumikislap na mga bola na sumasalamin sa diwa ng kapistahan. Ang tawanan ay umuusad sa hangin habang ang mga bata ang kanilang mga mata ay bukas na puno ng paghanga, habang ang mga pamilya, bata at matanda, ay nagsasama upang magbahagi ng init ng panahon. Ang makulay na mga dekorasyon ay sumasayaw sa ilalim ng langit ng gabi, lumilikha ng masayang kapaligiran na nag-aanyaya sa lahat na yakapin ang diwa ng Pasko.
I took this photo a couple days ago. After a few days of fog and temperatures below freezing, the hoar frost builds up on almost everything. When the fog finally lifts and the sun comes out the town becomes a winter wonderland. This is one of the main streets in Three Hills, Alberta, Canada. It is a couple blocks from my home. So from my home, town, and country to yours, I wish you all a Merry Christmas.

A jolly Santa Claus waves joyfully, surrounded by a majestic Christmas tree, its branches heavy with sparkling baubles reflecting the festive spirit. In het hart van de Filipijnen ontvouwt zich een levendig kersttafereel, versierd met fonkelende lichten en kleurrijke ornamenten. Een vrolijke kerstman zwaait blijdschap, omringd door een majestueuze kerstboom, waarvan de takken zwaar zijn van sprankelende kerstballen die de feestelijke geest weerspiegelen. Gelach vult de lucht terwijl kinderen ogen vol verwondering hebben, terwijl gezinnen, zowel jong als oud, samenkomen om de warmte van het seizoen te delen. Ang tawanan ay umuusad sa hangin habang ang mga bata ang kanilang mga mata ay bukas na puno ng paghanga, habang ang mga pamilya, bata at matanda, ay nag sama sama upang magbahagi ng kanilang oras sa pamilya. Ang makulay na mga dekorasyon ay sumasayaw sa ilalim ng langit ng gabi, lumilikha ng masayang kapaligiran na nag-aanyaya sa lahat na yakapin ang diwa ng Pasko.

Above image is a "Christmas" tree, lighted with colorful light bulbs and composed of arranged salakot - a traditional lightweight headgear from the Philippines used for protection against the sun and rain. They are usually dome-shaped or cone-shaped and can range in size from having very wide brims to being almost helmet-like - to form a tree.

Christmas, in Tagalog: Pasko, is by far the most important celebrations day of the Philippines, months before the 25th of december, preparations start. The malls, houses, streets, churches, well, everything is decorated with the most beautiful christmas lights and colours. In the Philippines, Pasko, is not only about celebrating with family and loved ones, there it is also about sharing.

Pasko ng Pilipinas
Christmas, in Tagalog: Pasko, is by far the most important celebration of the Philippines. Preparations and the countdown, also on the news, starts at 1 september. And we where there in september.
The malls, houses, streets, churches and theme parks, everything is decorated with the most beautiful christmas lights and colours. The closer the calendar comes to Christmas, the more decorations.
In the Philippines, Pasko, is not only about celebrating with family and loved ones, it is also about sharing.

It was the sky that caught my eye. I like the clouds and the blue sky. Yes it might look like its really cold and somewhere on the tundra in northern Canada. But in reality it is southern Alberta and just below freezing.

Interrupting our regular uploads to wish everyone a Happy Easter.
Easter in Tagalog is Pasko ng Pagkabuhay and it is an important catholic joyus celebratio, the first being the dawn ceremony called the Salubong (Filipino for "meeting") that re-enacts the imagined reunion of Christ and his mother after the Resurrection. Statues of the Risen Christ and the Virgin Mary are borne in two separate processions that meet at a designated area called a Galilea, usually in the plaza fronting the church. At easter it is crowded at this landmark.
