Two heads are better than one...Strange looking birds! These little guys are new to the neighborhood. This is very strange...two on the feeder at the same time! One always chases the other away. I guess they felt there was enough to share. They're small...maybe last batch of babies. Glad that I had my camera handy! They're even cuter on black.
Partners in crime. We saw a couple on tv at a show about people and their disaster home renovation. The man was working on it for already 4 years, so they had to live in a mess all those years (with a little baby boy!omg). It was also very unsafe, 'cause water was leaking in the fuse box....anyway she couldn't handle it anymore and contacted the tvshow. Blablablabla construction workers came to help them out, the man was a real control freak-drama blabla anyway at the end the host asked her 'Is your heart on fire again?' and she said:'Since this morning it is' 'Why since this morning?' the host asked. 'Cause he said he loves me, and he hadn't said that in a long time.'
Whut?! Emiel and I looked at eachother, shocked! Are there really young couples, with small kids that don't say 'I love you' anymore? I just can't imagine not saying I love you to Emiel, when he goes to work, when he falls asleep in my arms.....
So my question for you: Do you still tell your partner that you love him/her everyday?

OK - we have two new cats, well kittens actually. One of our Persians died recently and his remaining Brother 'Oscar' has been down-in-the-dumps ever since. So we figured that having a couple of delinquent kittens would at, worst, take his mind off moping around, or better still, cheer him up.
So far Oscar is undecided, he's swinging somewhere between disgust, and mild apprehension - not quite the emphatic welcome we were hoping for, but the new boys have bags of personality and seem set on converting him to their new cause...
Here they are just moments after arriving in their new home. They just love those polished wood floors - great for sliding tackles.

Min & Max have now united to become an utterly destructive force within our house. Now that they both can climb and jump to anywhere, nothing is safe and much is broken. And then there's the singing...
Interestingly, neither of our two grown-up cats want to have anything to do with these two.
Call it animal intuition, but I figure our older cats realise something about these two little terrors that we don't - Inside those little furry suits lurks Pure Evil

An adipose waves good-bye at my door as it heads off the porch and out into the world.
[The Adipose originally came from the planet Adipose 3. After the Adiposian First Family lost the nursery planet, they hired wet nurses in order to find new places to breed their offspring. On Earth, the wet-nurse Matron Cofelia set up Adipose Industries and disguised the Adipose seeds in the form of weight-loss pills, using humans as surrogates. The pill gained over a million customers quickly. When the Tenth Doctor and Donna Noble discovered the alien secret behind the supposed diet pills, Matron Cofelia ordered the immediate birthing of all Adipose. The Adipose nursery ship collected the babies then ordered the death of "Miss Foster", as Cofelia was known, to remove any evidence, as breeding on a Level 5 planet was an illegal act under the Shadow Proclamation. ( Partners in Crime) After being taken from Earth, the Shadow Proclamation took the baby Adipose into care.
The Adipose reproduced on Nursery Worlds. When on Earth, the Adipose's development was started when a pill from Adipose Industries was ingested. The young Adipose would grow, collecting fat from around the body. Every night, the Adipose would then be born and leave the body. They could convert other material into fat; however, this practice was not good for their health. Alternative materials included the bones, organs, muscles and many other human tissues. In emergencies, this was used to dispose of people by turning them completely into Adipose.]
