Willing Participant (willingparticipant.org) whips up urgent poetic responses to crazy shit that happens. On the night of Wednesday, July 17, about 20 participants met with us to consider the death of Trayvon Martin. From that meeting, we decided to create a response inviting the public to show greater respect for the lives of young black men.
So, on Tuesday July 23rd at 10:15pm in Times Square, a group of thirty participants joined together in making a 30 minute, slow-moving sculpture by morphing our bodies into various versions of the hoodied self.

48 – 14 Photographies de participants au bal costumé du 1903
Les 11 et 13 Février 1903 a été donné le dernier bal de la cour impériale russe dans le Palais d’Hiver, bal dont la préparation a nécessité plusieurs mois. Tous les participants devaient porter des costumes inspirés de l’époque du deuxième tsar de la dynastie Romanov, Alexis Mikhaïlovitch (XVIIème siècle). Les costumes de la famille impériale ont été faits d’après des esquisses du peintre Serge Solomko.
A la demande du maître des cérémonies de la Cour, les invités furent priés de se faire photographier dans leur costume d’époque afin de laisser un souvenir de l'événement.
1) - les deux sœurs nées Taneev, Anna Vyroubova, dame d’honneur de l’Impératrice, qui introduisit Raspoutine auprès de l’Impératrice et Alexandra épouse de Alexandre von Pistolkors gentilhomme de la chambre.
2) - Ivan Alexandrovitch Vsevolozhsky (1835—1909) directeur de l’Ermitage, avec une signature autographe
3) - sa fille Sophie, épouse du comte Michel Grabbe dernier ataman du Don. Avec une signature autographe
4, 5 et 6) - le prince Alexandre Obolensky, proche collaborateur de Witte et son épouse née princesse Saltykov (avec prédicat d‘Altesse Sérénissime). Avec signature autographe. Une photographie du prince, une de la princesse et une du couple princier.
7) - la comtesse Agrippine Zarkenau (née princesse Djaparidze) épouse morganatique de Constantin von Holstein-Gottorp, duc d'Oldenburg.

11 февраля состоялся Вечер в Эрмитаже; 13 февраля 1903 г. в Зимнем дворце прошёл костюмированный бал, последний русский придворный бал, приготовления к которому заняли несколько месяцев. Темой бала был объявлен допетровский XVII век. Костюмы были изготовлены по эскизам художника Сергея Соломко.
После окончания по желанию императрицы участники бала были запечатлены лучшими фотографами Санкт-Петербурга.
1) Сёстры Танеевы Александра и Анна Александровны, дочери обер-гофмейстера А. С. Танеева: Александра (1888-1963), замужем за Александром Эриковичем фон Пистолькорсом, камер-юнкером, поручиком запаса при штабе гвардии; Анна (1884-1964) замужем за Александром Васильевичем Вырубовым, старшим лейтенантом флота (МКК 1900 г.), знаменитая фрейлина императрицы.
2) - Иван Александрович Всеволожский (1835—1909), русский театральный деятель, сценарист, художник, тайный советник, обер-гофмейстер, директор Эрмитажа.

4, 5, 6) – Супруги Оболенские: князь Алексей Дмитриевич (1855-1933) - государственный деятель, один из ближайших сотрудников Витте; княгиня Елизавета Николаевна (1868-1957), урождённая светлейшая княжна Салтыкова.
7) - Графиня Агриппина Константиновна Зарнекау (1855-1926), урождённая княжна Джепаридзе, в первом браке за князем Дадиани, во втором морганатическом за Константином Петровичем герцогом Ольденбургским (1850-1906).
8) - Графиня Екатерина Константиновна Зарнекау (1884-1963), дочь графини А. К. Зарнекау и герцога Ольденбургского. В первом браке за И. И. Пленом (Ploen); во втором браке за А. К. Тоном; в третьем браке за Ф. Д. Хомичевским; в четвёртом браке за генералом П. Н. Шатиловым.
9) - Графиня Мария Михайловна Орлова-Давыдова (урожденная Зографо), жена графа Александра Анатольевича. Фотография с автографом на лицевой стороне.

13) - Баронесса Эмма Владимировна Фредерикс, фрейлина императрицы, дочь В. Б. Фредерикса, (барон, с 1913 г. - граф), министра императорского Двора и уделов.
14) - Графиня Ирина Васильевна Воронцова-Дашкова (1880-1917), дочь Василия Львовича Нарышкина. Первым браком за графом И. И. Воронцовым-Дашковым, развелась в 1913 году и вышла замуж за генерал-майора свиты Его Величества князя С. А. Долгорукого. Дочь Мария (1903-1997), вышла замуж за князя Никиту Александровича, сына великого князя Александра Михайловича и великой княгини Ксении Александровны.

On Saturday, January 21, 2017, members of Keystone Progress joined thousands of women and men at the Women's March on Erie. This was one of the largest demonstration's in our city in years, and the largest march in national history. Thanks to all who participated. The event started off at the Erie County Courthouse, 140 W 6th St, and marched around Perry Square, and concluded with a program of speakers and performers in Perry Square. Emcee was Heather Cole. Speakers and performers included TiffanyMcCloud, Cindy Purvis, Marisa Moks-Unger, Christina Rieger, PhD., Rev. Beth Marshall, Karen Risser, Niken Astari-Carpenter, Brit Soule, Traci Andrews, Sarah Everett, Rabbi Emily Losben-Ostrov, Jessica Semler, and Doris Cipolla. The speakers addressed multiple issues including women's rights, immigrant rights, worker rights, reproductive rights, LGBTQIA rights, environmental rights, rights for all races, rights of religious freedom, and rights of persons with disabilities.
