Post Card to Miss Kathleen Summerscales, 14 Victoria Street, Scarborough, Yorkshire dated 17th August 1908 while she was on holiday. The 1911 census shows the family living at Rockpell, Keighley and she is listed as a part time student also working in a Machine Shop.
Kathleen Mary Summerscales born 1886 in Wakefield was the daughter of Joseph Booth Summercales and Mary Grace Midgely who married at Keighly, Yorkshire 4th December 1883.
She married Percy Darling at Keighley on 5th January 1916. He was an Engineer.

A lot has happened in the last few months. I lost my job and started parttime as a freelance journalist. Found a new, parttime, job at the province of South-Holland. My grandmother died. My sister got diagnosed with breastcancer. Sometimes I can't handle all the feelings and thoughts in my head. After an interview in Hardinxveld-Giessendam I sat next to the river to think. The water, the air, the falling darkness and the moon made me a little more relaxed.
