Street sign directly behind the cathedral, Lübeck, Summer 2022

I visited friends this afternoon, there are parking restrictions in their road so one has to display a visitors' permit.

Costs of parkingpermit, insurance and taxes were increasing too much so the owner decided to stop his silent protest. Friday the car will be removed

Well I thought it was funny !

My wife's bicycle parking permit, issued by her employer, with a pretty unfortunate misspelling.

Hang Tag Parking Permit Tags are usually die cut from .015″ or .035″ thick flexible white polyethylene plastic sheet stock. Some decal printers are now offering hang tag parking permit tags in “earth-friendly” polyethylene that contains up to 70% recycled materials.

I'm sure this sign is present all around! It's the best way to provide parking for residents.

We see it all the time on game day — an office building parking lot gets new life in the evening or on weekends, selling spots to fans. In Cobb County, it’s called accessory special event parking.

The county’s new ordinance governing the licensing process has raised some controversy and app...

Pittsburgh does things a little differently from the rest of the free world. When you want to hold your parking space (usually in front of your house), you put a lawn chair in the street to mark it. If somebody moves your chair and takes your space, you have the moral authority to beat the ever-lovin' snot out of 'em. I like it. Lex talionis justice.

One of my photos of the Texas Stadium Implosion - the former stomping ground of the Dallas Cowboys football team was demolished today in an event where a few thousand cars were allowed to park for $25 ea, which went to a charity.

The service for the World Day of Prayer was held at Crawley Parish Church. This voucher allowed me to park in the small car park.

Couldn't let my car be scrapped before I took a photo of my French Quarter parking permit, one of my prized souvenirs from my old neighborhood. (Man, it was great to be able to park in front of my apartment during Mardi Gras.)

I'm afraid I didn't manage to have two minutes' silence at 11 o'clock today for Armistice Day - Mike saw a traffic warden coming down the road, and we hadn't put the visitors' parking permit (although no apostrophe on the permit!) in the car. As we have two cars, we have to use visitors' ones for Mike's car, as mine is the officially registered car for the main permit.

We had to go out in the afternoon, as we were due to have two viewings of our house. One lot didn't turn up, but the other did. We walked up to Headington and visited all the charity shops - Mike hadn't realised there were so many! We bought some DVDs, a couple of books for Mike, and a decanter for me. It was very nice, cut-glass, and only £5 - and I'll give one of my square-based ones to charity.
