El nombre del monumento, Panteón, proviene de pántheion (en griego, πάνθειον), que significa «de todos los dioses».1 Inicialmente previsto en el siglo XVIII para ser una iglesia que albergaría el relicario de santa Genoveva, este monumento está destinado a honrar a los grandes personajes que han marcado la historia de Francia.

When we were in Paris, we went up Montmartre to the Sacre Couer, and while sitting on the steps, a just married couple arrived on the bottom with a photographer. There were 100's of people milling around, but I put on my telephoto lens and just kept shooting. I cropped this one and got the extra people out of it. Loved the look on her face and the wind blowing her veil.
Au Moulin Rouge, le spectacle terminé, la salle est nettoyée ... la nuit sera réparatrice.
