This is from the same parameters as the others in the ball and square hole series. The color here reminds me of something but I can't place it. It is related to toys or circuses somehow and is very familiar but it remains obscure.

con una nikon coolpix l5 ho scattato manualmente tre foto la prima sottoesposta di 1,5 la seconda a zero e la terza sovraesposta di 1,5 la macchina era montata su treppiedi e ho elaborato il tutto con il programma Qtpfsgui che è pure a gratis!

After YEARS of walking past the Picasso sculpture in Daly Plaza in Chicago one day I Finally Saw HER! I stopped dead in my tracks and the poor man walking behind me bumped into me. EVERY WHICH WAY
I recently came across the term "pure" to describe an image captured using a particular set of parameters as applied to a type of photographic technique, Intentional Camera Movement (ICM). The inference was that this particular set of "pure" parameters is the One, True Right Way to capture and process ICM images for them to be designated as "pure" ICM.
I reject this sort of description. I have no problem with delineating styles, such as 'this image was captured with one exposure without major post-processing', but calling it "pure" is like calling any type of photography after Joseph Nicéphore Niépce "impure".
The term "pure" suggests that anything less or more is unreal, sullied, false, unchaste, corrupt. What I find interesting is that these sorts of censures and invectives were also unleashed on the Impressionists whose artistic styles those practicing ICM attempt to portray.
I feel that there are enough divisions in our world of disarray and that finding merit in each other's attempts at creating beauty should be embraced whether it fits into a concocted construct or frees those bounds and asks "what if?"

I never screw around with bracketing in-camera to produce an HDR image in Lightroom. Figured why not give it another go. Kept lots of sky detail, but it makes most other parameters such as noise reduction weird.

Νομίζω ότι την επόμενη φορά αν την τραβήξω από διαφορετική γωνία αλλά και με μεγαλύτερη απόσταση από τα λιοντάρια θα μπορούσε να έχει τελείως διαφορετικό οπτικό αποτέλεσμα. Πάλι χωρίς τρίποδο είχα αναγκαστεί να στερεώσω την φωτογραφική μηχανή σε ένα παγκάκι.

I had three parameters as I stood in that ancient, holy courtyard on the day.
Light, Angle, Frame.
The fourth - camera, my D60, was not yet bought. I was stuck with the TZ1.
Light was not changing with the quantum of time I had on my side. This was not one of the times I would say, " Camp until the magic hour". I had a train to catch.
Angle was limited. I stood where I stood. In my Bata sandles.
Frame was all I had to play with. The place swarmed with tourists. Upwards of 500 to my best estimate. I stood there, camera to my eye, sweat pouring down in the Hampi heat, waiting until I stole a moment in time like it seemed I had the site to myself.
Then *click*
I knew I could handle the rest in PS. That is one tool the gunmen in the W W West never had.
