Dark clouds over Ramsbottom, January 2009. The steam is from Ramsbottoms only remaining Paper Mill, one of the very few left in Lancashire as a whole. The local paper industry has been decimated in the past 5-10 years, and one wonders just how long this place has left.

Late August day out by the River. Who could ask for more. Well yes, I could, tea and cakes served at the lock too.
