Can't resist a pint at this lovely pub. Just been bought out and now a free-house.

This area probably housed the ream wrapping machine , bulk packing machine etc.

this machine was had chrome and rubber rolls that compressed the paper to increase shine and gloss.

I was not until years later that matt coated papers were manufactured in the paper industry to reduce glare when veiwing the printed image.

Papermill Falls shows off its jagged left hand side.

I need some help with this one please is this a very early picture of a coating machine? I know that the mill made various "real" art papers one being Invercarron art , one of the coating ingredients was casine this as far as I understand was made from milk.

I did see number 1 paper machine working in the 1970's but did not see number 2 machine number 1 had a group of about 7 steps at the dry end this machine does not?
